Congress must learn the art of compromise

Congress, one of the lowest-rated institutions/professions in the country, must learn the art of compromise to avoid the fiscal cliff that would send our country into another deep recession. No more lines in the sand, no more political party partisanship and no more selfishness! I urge everyone to write, call or email their elected representatives about this issue, as I have.

In the words of John F. Kennedy: “Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future.”
