Wow, 200 knitters making scarves for 132 trees in downtown Iowa City! I would like to suggest another way to bring cheer to many with their knitting needles.

Knitters work your magic making booties, hats and blankets for the tiny babies in the neonatal unit at the University of Iowa Hospital with The Preemie Project. We provide booties, hats, blankets, sleepers and bedding for the neonatal intensive care unit at the University of Iowa Hospital and many hospitals around Iowa.

If you knit, crochet, or sew, please find out more at www.the

preemieproject.com. Or on Facebook. Donations are welcomed, too. It’s for the babies and their families.
