Rockwell Collins wins avionics order from China Southern

Company will supply 16 Airbus A330 aircraft

Rockwell Collins will supply cockpit avionics for 16 Airbus A330 aircraft under a deal with China Southern announced at Air Show China Tuesday.

The deal includes Rockwell Collins’ MultiScan Threat Detection System GLU-925 Multi-Mode Receiver and SAT-2100 satellite communications system. It also includes the HFS-900D High Speed Data Radio, VHF-2100 Very High Frequency Trasceiver, VOR-900 VHF Omnidirectional Radio and other gear.

The value of the agreement was not disclosed.
