Brazilian airline gives Rockwell Collins big order

Brazil’s GOL Airlines has ordered Rockwell Collins avionics for 20 new Boeing 737NG aircraft to be delivered beginning in early 2014.

Rockwell Collins said the contract win is a step forward on its commitment to increase customer and program support in Brazil. Rockwell Collins will provide local support for GOL Airlines through its service center in Sấo José dos Campos, Brazil.

The order includes Rockwell Collins’ GLU-925 Multi-Mode Receiver and MultiScan Threat Detection System.
