The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cedar Rapids will celebrate Thanksgiving with all Club members on various nights this week.

Tonight’s Thanksgiving meal will take place at Olivet Neighborhood Mission (237 10th St NW) and will serve members from the Olivet and Salvation Army Units on the Northwest side of town.

Two additional Thanksgiving meals will be served this Thursday evening, one at the Clubs’ Taylor Elementary School Unit (720 7th Ave SW) on the Southwest side of town and members from the Eastside Units will hold their celebration at First Congregational Church (361 17th St SE). Over the course of the week, the Club will host dinner for approximately 300 members plus their families.

These meals would not be possible without the generosity of Hy-Vee who has graciously donated the turkey dinners and members of Metro North Rotary Club who donate their time to serve the dinners at all of our thanksgiving celebrations.
