A Dyersville man was killed Thursday morning when the truck he was driving struck a mobile home in Dyersville.

Police were called around 7 a.m. Thursday to the Northwind Community Mobile Home Park in 700 block of Second Street NE, where the accident was reported. According to officials, Gene L. Osterhaus, 63, struck a mobile home at the park. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Dyersville and later pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation.
