In response to the Oct. 23 letter by Tim T. Evans of Solon (“Cedar Rapids doesn’t need a casino”):

Evans claims: “We already are building an arena and hotel complex.” We, Mr. Evans? You live in Solon and the good people of Cedar Rapids pay the property taxes here. You do not. You have a choice. We do not.

I have complained in many letters about the things our local government does. We do not need your help in this.
