I am happy to recommend Linda Zuercher as Clayton County treasurer in Tuesday’s election. I have known Linda for more than 30 years and I can attest to her character and hard work ethic. As a lifelong resident of Clayton County, Linda has worked with the family dairy operation and has been the financial manager of their family trucking business. Along with raising a family of four children, Linda has volunteered helping her community and church. She has dedicated 20 years as a Clayton County 4-H leader.

She spent nine years in Allamakee County in the treasurer’s office as the driver’s license examiner and for the past five years has been the office manager of the assessor’s office. Her knowledge of balancing budgets, property values and taxes, while increasing efficiency by using technology, make her an excellent choice. Linda always provides “superior” customer service and she does it with a smile!
