Iowa sets record for early voting

Old record eclipsed by nearly 12,000 voters, with four days left until election

Iowa already has set an early voting record, Chad Olsen of the Iowa Secretary of State’s office said Friday.

So far, 557,432 voters have cast ballots, eclipsing the old record of 545,739 with four days remaining to return ballots.
