Goofin' on Elvis. Hey, baby.

Fewer videos than usual. Let’s call that a compromise.

Indiana pregame — CB B.J. Lowery

CB B.J. Lowery says the names of all seven of his sisters. Or was it six? Something like that. These guys come from everywhere and have a million different backgrounds. I find Lowery’s fascinating. More Barbie dolls than footballs around his house.

Indiana pregame — C James Ferentz

The fifth-year senior will be matched up with Indiana’s veteran DT Adam Replogle this week. Replogle is one of those scrappers who’s maximized his skill and who has 13.5 career sacks.

Indiana pregame — OT Matt Tobin

He didn’t play much as a junior at Dyersville Beckman. He then grew nearly six inches from his junior to senior years. That opened the door. He walked on at Iowa, got in a fight with DE Adrian Clayborn during a practice and is now, after Brandon Scherff’s injury, Iowa’s starting left offensive tackle.

Indiana pregame — QB James Vandenberg

This part of my time got jumped. Off camera, I asked about the offense saying “it’s blank blank his close to making big plays.” What has to happen to get that over the hump.

Indiana pregame — RB Damon Bullock

The sophomore talks about his concussion and the road back. He also suffered a nasty shot to the head against Northwestern. He said he was nervous about it and glad he got it out of the way. He also talks about the circumstances. You get concusses by the ones you don’t see coming.

Indiana pregame — OG Austin Blythe

The freshman talks about some of the players who’ve influences his early days at Iowa, fellow OL James Ferentz and OT Matt Tobin.

  1. Marc;
    Don’t give up on the videos, either post game or Tuesdays. I for one, enjoy watching them. I know the post game ones are hard, as I’m sure you have deadlines to meet. Keep up the good work.
