On Friday, October 26, 2012, more than 700 Xavier students will take part in the 15th Annual Xavier High School Community Service Day and volunteer throughout the greater Cedar Rapids community. Students will begin the day with a prayer service before dispersing for 150 work sites throughout the city.

Students will assist elderly or disabled homeowners with regular fall chores such as raking leaves and cleaning windows. In addition, students will perform regular maintenance jobs in area Catholic churches and assist the Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity with their current home build.
