I support Nate Willems for the Iowa Senate District 48. As a member of the Iowa House, Nate has demonstrated that he is a leader who listens to diverse perspectives, carefully consider the interests of his constituents and then effectively advocate for the policy that is best for all Iowans. Nate is very skilled at working in a bipartisan manner. He is a strong advocate for a fiscally responsible state budget that meets the needs of Iowans.

Nate supports an education policy that will prepare students for the ever-changing work force. He is a strong supporter of reasonable allowable growth increases for K-12 education, 4-year-old preschool education and consideration of emerging changes that will support increase student achievement. Nate supports reasonable revenue increases to higher education to maintain tuition rates and access to for every qualified Iowan.

He will help us create a state government that meets our needs in the 21st century.
