The U.S. Navy has contracted Rockwell Collins to develop technology to detect enemy attempts to disrupt military GPS navigation and communications.

The Office of Naval Research contract for the Modernized Integrated Spoofer Tracking program is for three years, the company said, but its monetary value was not disclosed.  Rockwell Collins has operations in Iowa’s Creative Corridor, including Coralville and Cedar Rapids.
