Again, the prospect of a casino in Cedar Rapids has made the headlines.

What is the big deal about another casino? Why not take a bold step and build “the first” totally non-smoking casino. A couple of years ago, my wife and I attended a class reunion which was held in a non-smoking area of a casino, the smoke drifting in was awful.

Let’s not just build another casino; let’s build something that stands out.
