Curator tour of Art Nouveau at National Czech & Slovak Museum

Take a curator guided tour of the exhibition, Alphonse Mucha: Inspiration of Art Nouveau at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library (NCSML) on Saturday, Oct. 20. During this 2 p.m. tour, NCSML Curator Stefanie Kohn will discuss the unique aspects of Mucha’s flowing elegant artwork. She will also present information about his life and why Art Nouveau soared to popularity across Europe and the United States. The 230-piece exhibit is composed of paintings, lithographs, photographs, sketches and jewelry from Prague and London.
Tour repeats Thursday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Dec. 1. Both tours begin at 2 p.m. at the NCSML. Tour fee is included with exhibit admission and is free for members of the museum and library.
