Where have the press, pundits, protesters and even the president, gone during the Obama regime? The press and pundits are nowhere to be heard in criticism, or even serious questioning, of President Barack Obama and his failed policies. Where are black activist orators — the NAACP, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton — voicing un-acceptance of same-sex marriage and the economic plight of the black community?
The silence is deafening.
During the Bush administration, everyone was very loud — war protesters about the latest tally of the fallen and wounded, the press about the economy, the unemployment rate, increased energy, gasoline and food prices, illegal immigration, more people on food stamps, falling GNP, the federal debt, declining housing values, etc.
Obama refers to freshly filled graves of a U.S. ambassador and three Navy Seals as a “bump in the road”? Really?! The silence is deafening.
In 2008, Americans elected a president filled with soaring promises and hopes, and little else. Democrats had control for two years to fulfill them. What is there to show for it? Very little for trillions spent.
America can do better.
