Iowa cornerback Micah Hyde, who’s made 31 consecutive starts for Iowa, will play this weekend against Michigan State. In the wake of a public intoxication and an interference with official acts charge last weekend, Hyde has lost his captaincy.
As part of his punishment, Hyde faced the media on Tuesday. Here’s a video clip from his interview.

As much as I love my Hawkeyes, I do not agree with this slap on the wrist. He should be suspended at least two games – is there some fine print in the University handbook that I am missing?????
No fine print. This is the prescribed measure.
If Iowa suspended him two games for this, good luck recruiting.
love it… punishment is to speak to the media… how do u feel about that?
