The Johnson County Crises Center is hoping to be TPed as part of it’s annual toilet paper drive.

Beginning today, and lasting the entire month of October, the crises center will be collecting toilet paper, which is a necessity for many of the Crisis Center Food Bank’s clients.  Because the Crisis Center only budgets funds for food, toilet paper is only available when it is donated.

TP the Crisis Center is intended to help the Food Bank gear up for November, which is typically it’s busiest month.

Iowa City Landscaping is offering a discount on  total purchases if people donate a package of toilet paper or other wish list items for the Shelter House or Domestic Intervention Program during their Fall Open House and Benefit on October 6 and 7.
