The Big Ten released its starting times for men’s basketball this afternoon, and Iowa’s improvement last year netted the Hawkeyes a little more exposure this season.

The Hawkeyes will play host to ESPN preseason No. 1 Indiana at 3 p.m. Dec. 31 on ESPN2. Its only sports competition for eyeballs that day will come from ESPN’s Liberty Bowl and CBS’ Sun Bowl. Neither bowl hosts a Big Ten school this year.

Iowa will play host to Michigan  State at 6 p.m. Jan. 10 on either ESPN or ESPN2. It’s the only regular-season meeting between the schools this year.

BTN will air the emotional Jan. 19 game between Iowa and Wisconsin in primetime (7 p.m.). The game marks the 20th anniversary of Chris Street’s death.
