Coralville to celebrate new trailhead

CORALVILLE – The city of Coralville Tuesday night will celebrate the completion of another section of the Clear Creek Trail.

The event will start at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the new trailhead at 719 Camp Cardinal Blvd. The trailhead has parking, restrooms, a small shelter and kiosk area and a small boat launch into Clear Creek, according to a news release.

The project also included adding another 1,650 feet of 10-foot-wide trail, bringing Clear Creek Trail’s total distance to 4.3 miles, according to the release.
