Republican VP candidate Ryan to visit Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is scheduled to visit Des Moines on Monday.

A news release from GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s campaign says Ryan will attend a rally at the Simon Estes Amphitheater in downtown Des Moines.

Doors for the rally will open at 1 p.m., and the program is set to start at 3 p.m.

Those wishing to attend are asked to request tickets online.
