Over the years, people have slowly forgotten the 10th Commandment, “Thou Shalt Not Covet.” From Webster’s dictionary, the word “covet” means, “to feel inordinate desire for what belongs to another.” For example, an increasing trend is for people to extract wealth from others by forming political alliances, i.e., vote for politicians to do their desirous but nefarious theft of other’s wealth.

President Barack Obama demonizes the wealthy as not paying their fair share when the wealthy pay the majority of taxes and half the population pay no federal income taxes. Thus, many citizens are encouraged by politicians to covet what belongs to others so as to gain wealth without work/merit. Political power is being used to extract wealth from citizens who have worked to generate wealth and given to others without merit and of his choosing.

Thus, Obama preaches a new version of the 10th Commandment to the public, “Thou Shalt Covet.”
