Grapple at the Garden tickets on sale Thursday

Fans can order tickets, starting Thursday at 9 a.m. through Friday 8 a.m.

One of the most storied college wrestling programs will be competing at one of the most storied sports venues in December.

Fans can start purchasing tickets to catch the University of Iowa Hawkeyes wrestle in the "Grapple at the Garden" at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Dec. 16. Tickets will be available Thursday at 9 a.m. (Iowa time) through Friday at 8 a.m. (Iowa time). According to the UI, tickets can be ordered at ticketmaster.com and use of the code "IOWA."

The Hawkeyes will wrestle Hofstra and Bucknell in the morning. They will also dual University of Buffalo the following day in Buffalo, N.Y.

PRESALE TICKETS FOR “GRAPPLE AT THE GARDEN” WILL BE AVAILABLE BEGINNING THURSDAY AT 9 A.M.

NEW YORK – Madison Square Garden Sports announced today that presale tickets to the inaugural “Grapple at the Garden” will be available for purchase beginning tomorrow at 9 a.m. (CT) and concluding Friday at 8 a.m. (CT). Hawkeye fans can purchase the presale tickets by visiting ticketmaster.com and entering the presale code “IOWA.”

The Hawkeyes are one of 14 teams competing at the inaugural event on Dec. 16. Iowa will wrestle Hofstra at 9:30 a.m. (CT) and Bucknell at 11:30 a.m. (CT) inside Madison Square Garden, The World’s Most Famous Arena.

Fans that purchase tickets during the presale window will be seated in one of two Iowa sections. Following the one-day presale, tickets will be available for purchase at ticketmaster.com (without the presale code) or the MSG Box Office. Hawkeye fans can also purchase tickets in the Iowa sections by contacting the UI Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800 IA-HAWKS. Fans interested in special travel packages, including hotel rooms and event tickets, can visit gardengrappletravel.com.
