Former ISU OL Ben Lamaak (The Gazette)

Former Iowa State offensive lineman Ben Lamaak joined me on the Thursday edition of “The Mike Hlas Podcast.”

Lamaak played his junior and senior seasons at ISU for Paul Rhoads. He talked with me about how Rhoads went about putting his stamp on the Cyclones’ program immediately after taking the job when Gene Chizik left Iowa State for Auburn.

Lamaak also discussed this Saturday’s ISU-Iowa game, noting what he thinks each team needs to do to win, and he talked about Kinnick Stadium being a tough place to play.
