Remember president’s aspirations on Nov. 6

The cartoon “Millard Fillmore” in the Aug. 15 comic section gave an accurate view of President Obama’s mind set, I believe. It depicted the president as indicating that 6 percent of Americans got federal entitlements in 1962 and now it is 35 percent, a good start but we still have a long way to go.

Obama’s intentions would cast a greater burden on American taxpayers. We need jobs, not more dependency on the federal government. Voters should remember our president’s aspirations on Nov. 6.
