Former Republican presidential hopeful and businessman Steve Forbes will speak at the University of Iowa Sept. 12.

The UI’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center will host Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, for the panel discussion “The Power of a Game Plan.”  The panel discussion also will include John Schlifske, chairman and chief executive officer of Northwestern Mutual.

The event is open to UI students, faculty and staff, and an RSVP is required. Attendees are asked to register by Sept. 7, at http://www.iowajpec.org/calendar/register.cfm?eid=403

The discussion will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Main Lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union, with registration at 3 p.m. The event is co-sponsored by Northwestern Mutual and University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center.
