More important to safeguard ballot count

Please, let’s stop wasting money, time and manpower on a non-problem (voter ID).

A cynic has said that it’s not who votes that counts but who counts the votes. We should be concentrating our resources on maintaining the integrity of the ballot box, with special vigilance when it comes to voting machines to be sure that they are tamper proof.

More important to safeguard ballot count
  1. Except for the Republican caucuses this past year, I’m not aware of any significant irregularities in Iowa elections.
    Keep fingers crossed that those who would protect our right to vote by making it as difficult as they possibly can for us to actually vote don’t screw that up too.
