Former Iowa basketball star Bobby Hansen will sing “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” during the seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field on Friday as part of “Hawkeye Day with the Cubs.”

Hansen, the Hawkeyes’ radio color analyst for basketball, played 10 seasons in the NBA and helped the Chicago Bulls win the 1992 NBA title. Iowa men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery will throw out the game’s first pitch. The Cubs play host to the San Francisco Giants at 1:20 p.m. Friday.

The day is held in conjunction between the Cubs and Hawkeyes. Iowa’s football team plays Northern Illinois on Saturday at Soldier Field.
