UPDATE: A person of interest in the case of two missing girls turned himself in to authorities after the FBI released surveillance photos of him Wednesday night.

The FBI said they believe the person might have information about the abduction of Elizabeth Collins, 9, and Lyric Cook Morrissey, 10, who went missing July 13.

The photos, which show a white Chevy Astro cargo van and the person authorities believe was driving the truck, were taken at an area convenience store on the day the girls disappeared from Evansdale.

The FBI said in a news release that the person was being questioned “not as a witness but as someone who may have information about the abduction of the two girls from Evansdale.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the tip line at 319-232-6682 or the FBI at 402-493-8688.
