Dr. Donald Hilliard retires from MercyCare Community Physicians

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (Tues., July 3, 2012) Dr. Donald Hilliard practiced family medicine in Cedar Rapids for 32 years before closing his practice, MercyCare Dr. Hilliard, and retiring on June 30, 2012.

Throughout his years as a family physician, Dr. Hilliard has cared for many patients and been very involved in giving back to the community through work at His Hands Ministry, Living Center West, Sedlacek Treatment Center and the Community Health Free Clinic.

The community is invited to join MercyCare Community Physicians as they thank Dr. Hilliard for his commitment to our community and celebrate his retirement with a reception on Thurs., July 12. The reception will take place at Mercy Medical Center, 701 10th Street SE, in the Lundy Pavilion, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

MercyCare Dr. Hilliard was a part of MercyCare Community Physicians (MCCP). MCCP is composed of thirteen family practice clinics in the Cedar Rapids metro area, as well as Center Point, Monticello, Mount Vernon, North Liberty and Tama. Three urgent care facilities and four specialty clinics are also part of the MCCP system. Established in 1995, MCCP is affiliated with Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.
