The Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival, along with local Veterans and friends celebrated Flag Day this morning on June 14, in Downtown Cedar Rapids next to Veterans Memorial Building.

As one veteran raised the American Flag, the others stood and saluted as local community members said the Pledge of Allegiance. You can see the flags flying proudly on this beautiful Flag Day.

This event starts off the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival who’s main dates are June 21 through July 4. The Freedom Festival is excited to be bringing back returning events while also bringing new events that are sure to be exciting and family friendly.
