Suspect arrested in pair of Cedar Rapids stabbings

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — A suspect has been arrested in a pair of Cedar Rapids stabbings.

Police say 20-year-old Parish Harris, of Cedar Rapids, faces two counts of attempted murder. He is being held in the Linn County jail.

Authorities say officers were called to a disturbance about 3 a.m. Sunday. A short time later, two victims arrived at a hospital with multiple stab wounds.

The victims’ names and conditions, along with details of the stabbings, were not released.

No number is listed for Harris.
