We had some time to interview players. Here they are.

Iowa tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz talks about his spring practice. His role is expected to grow in the offense next season.

WR Kevonte Martin-Manley talks about the offense and its install. He’s gaining a comfort level. He missed some practice this spring with a minor injury.

Iowa quarterback James Vandenberg said the final segment of the playbook was installed this week. And he said it showed on Saturday.

DT Louis Trinca-Pasat played some WR at Lane Tech in Chicago. Came to Iowa weighing 225. Now, he’s a 283-pound defensive tackle. The extra weight wasn’t easy to haul around at first.

Sophomore OT Brandon Scherff remains around 310 pounds, but he says it’s a different 310. He looks leaner because he is leaner.

Senior cornerback Micah Hyde takes a step back and surveys the defense. He knows there’s work to do, but he likes the toughness, especially the D-line.
