Center James Ferentz and defensive tackle Steve Bigach met the media on Wednesday.

James Ferentz, a senior and three-year starter, talks, of course, about being coached by his brother, Brian, who was named offensive coordinator in February. James is a vet and knows his role. Brian is a pro and knows his role. I’m sure it’s a little weird at times, but the Ferentz family pays heed to chain of command.

Steve Bigach, a senior, is the most experienced D-lineman, starting five games last season between DT and DE. He’s inside this season and knows the defensive line faces some scrutiny with as many as three redshirt freshmen seeing playing time.
