Sean Considine (Liz Martin/The Gazette)

Sean Considine liked his half-season with the Arizona Cardinals. But now he’s on the move again.

Friday, Considine signed a contract with the Baltimore Ravens. He played eight games with Arizona last season after getting waived by the Carolina Panthers. Before that he spent four years with the team that drafted him, the Philadelphia Eagles, and two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

As the Baltimore Sun story I linked tells us, Considine has 253 career tackles, 2.5 sacks, four interceptions and five forced fumbles. Special teams has been his specialty, if you will. He has 93 career special teams tackles.

In December he attended an Iowa Insight Bowl practice in Scottsdale, Ariz., and offered comments about Iowa defensive backs coach Phil Parker, several weeks before Parker was promoted to defensive coordinator.

  1. The number of teams doesn’t matter. Get to the 10-year mark and make the pension, baby!
