Melissa Teahen and Michael Frederick were married on January 14, 2012 in Cancun, Mexico.

Melissa is the daughter of James and Susan Teahen of Marion, IA. Michael is the son of Donald and Patricia Frederick of Colorado Springs, CO.

Melissa is a graduate of the University of Iowa, and Michael is a graduate of Iowa State University. They live in Portland, OR, where Melissa works as a research audiologist for the Portland VA Medical Center, and Michael is a processor architect for Intel.

They will honeymoon later this year in South Africa.
