Parents of the couple are Larry and Julie Emmons of Norwalk, IA and the late Julie Flesner, and Jim and Vicki Carlson of Coon Rapids, MN.

Andrea is a graduate of Iowa City West and works for NCSA Athletic Recruiting in Chicago, IL. David is a real estate broker in Lincoln Park, IL.

The couple will wed on June 9, 2012.
