VIDEO: United Way and the Girl Scouts – developing youth skills for the future

United Way of East Central Iowa focuses on improving the community in three main areas: Health, Financial Stability, and Education. Within Education, we focus on providing children the 21st century skills they need in order to succeed in college, work and life.

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois have developed a new way to bring interest to these useful skills that will help young women later on in life. Watch the video to learn what two local Girl Scouts are doing to develop these new skills.
