AMES – Iowa State announced its 2012 football schedule today after Big 12 officials finalized the league portion of the slate.

The Cyclones’ 2012 conference schedule will include five games at Jack Trice Stadium and four on the road. Iowa State will open the season by hosting to Tulsa on Sept. 1. The Cyclones open conference play at home vs. Texas Tech on Sept. 29. The league opener follows a bye week.

Iowa State plays at TCU on Oct. 6 in its first match-up as league members. The Cyclones played at TCU once (1995) previously. Iowa State’s first game with West Virginia will close the regular season on Nov. 24. The Mountaineers, who are defending Orange Bowl champions, will play in Ames.

The Cyclones’ annual homecoming will be Oct. 27 vs. Baylor.

The entire Cyclone 2012 schedule is below, although all dates and times are subject to change per the Big 12 television agreements.
