Kirk Ferentz speaking about Iowa's coaching staff changes on Wednesday.

Here is video from Kirk Ferentz’s press conference on Wednesday.

This is the opening statement, which covered former offensive coordinator Ken O’Keefe’s departure. It also touches on Phil Parker’s qualifications for defensive coordinator. Here, Ferentz said Parker turned down the coordinator position at a recent BCS top 10 school. He also talks about the moves Reese Morgan and Darrell Wilson made and the next moves.

Here Ferentz talks about the possible permutations for the next wave of coaching changes, including what the offensive coordinator might be asked to do beyond coordinate.

He is asked about LeVar Woods, similarities to when Hayden Fry’s staff changed in the 1980s and the traits he looks for, “The price you pay to coach.”

The Brian Ferentz for OL question came up here. Kirk Ferentz said he’s open to anything.

No, Phil Parker wasn’t always the leader in the clubhouse for the DC position.
