IOWA CITY — Post-Printy depression? The Iowa Hawkeyes can’t afford it.

The season is over for Jaime Printy, who suffered a torn ACL in her left knee in Iowa’s overtime win at Wisconsin on Thursday. But it continues for the Hawkeyes, who chase their third straight win Sunday afternoon at Indiana.

Tipoff is 1 p.m. at Assembly Hall in Bloomington.

“We’ll need to refocus for our game on Sunday,” Iowa Coach Lisa Bluder said.

And that was before Printy’s injury, referring to the struggling Hoosiers. Now, the Hawkeyes (13-10 overall, 5-5 Big Ten) must stabilize their emotions and move on without their leading scorer.

Bluder said, prior to the Wisconsin game, that she hadn’t seen film of the Hoosiers (5-18, 0-10) to that point.

“I know they’ve been struggling,” Bluder said. “But any time you can pick up a road win, it’s very important.”

The Hawkeyes got their first one at Wisconsin, improving their league road record to 1-4. Bluder thinks a winning conference record is a prerequsitie for an NCAA tournament berth, meaning the Hawkeyes probably must win four of their last six.

Iowa will put out a different starting lineup for the first time. Theairra Taylor and Melissa Dixon are the most likely bets to join Morgan Johnson, Kamille Wahlin, Kelly Krei and Samantha Logic.

Johnson leads the active roster in scoring (14.7 points per game) and rebounding (6.9 per game)

Notable: The Hawkeyes play their first game in three years without Jaime Printy, who tore the ACL in her left knee Thursday at Wisconsin. Printy had started in 88 straight games. Iowa has beaten Indiana five straight times and is favored to extend that streak Sunday. The Hoosiers average just 57.7 points per game and shoot less than 35 percent from the floor. Morgan Johnson leads the active roster at 14.7 points per game, scoring 27 and Wisconsin.
