United Way of East Central Iowa raised more than $10.5 million - a new record

United Way of East Central Iowa raised $10,581,690 – a new record – in the recently completed 2011 campaign.

“This is fantastic news,” said Lois Buntz, CEO and President of United Way in East Central Iowa. “In addition we have $700,440 in additional revenue from grants and sponsorships, plus over $1.8 million in volunteer time. This brings our Resources Under Management to nearly $13.1 million.”

United Way works with 45 community partners to improve children’s education, families financial stability as well as people’s health. United Way also focus on volunteerism in Eastern Iowa.
