MANCHESTER — A 48-year-old Alburnett man is accused of fondling a 13-year-old Manchester girl in November.
According to a news release, Edward Reed is charged with lascivious act with a child, a Class C felony. Police said Reed touched the teen’s genitals at a Manchester home.
On Jan. 10, Manchester police and Delaware County deputies conducted a search and arrest warrant in Alburnett, where they seized several items related to the investigation, police said.
Manchester Police Chief Bruce Trapp said Reed is an acquaintance of the girl’s mother.
Reed is being held at the Delaware County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
