Valentines and Teddy Bears are Invited to Ushers Ferry

The Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Department Ushers Ferry Historic Village, 5925 Seminole Valley Tr. NE, is offering a Valentine’s Day Party for children ages 8-12 on February 11 and a Teddy Bear Tea for children ages 4-8 on March 3.

The Valentine’s Day Party is from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Participants will enjoy a party by the fireside with Victorian crafts and watch a holiday video. The fee is $12 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Pre-registration is required for program #414601-01.

The Teddy Bear Tea is from 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. Children are invited to bring their favorite bear. They will make a craft and enjoy a dessert with their tea. Afterwards, they will settle in with their bears and listen to stories and maybe share a few of their own. The fee is $12 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Pre-registration is required for program #414706-01.
