Man hit by vehicle, suffers head injuries

Police said someone hit a man who was crossing a busy street Monday morning.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. when the man was walking in the middle of the 100 block of Collins Road NE, near Lindale Mall.
According to police, an ambulance rushed the man to St. Luke's Hospital with head injuries.
No charges have been filed against the driver. Police are not yet releasing the pedestrian's name.
