Information from an Iowa Board of Medicine November 30, 2011 press release:

Anjali K. Gupta, M.D., a 43-year-old physician who formerly practiced radiation oncology in Iowa City and Sioux City, Iowa, had formal disciplinary charges filed against her by the Board on November 18, 2011. On February 11, 2011, the Board charged Dr. Gupta with violating the terms established by the Iowa Physician Health Program (IPHP), alcohol abuse and altering a report prepared by the IPHP. Dr. Gupta was placed on probation for a period of five years subject to substance abuse treatment and monitoring. On November 18, 2011, the Board charged Dr. Gupta with violating the Board’s drug screening program. A hearing has been scheduled on February 16, 2012.
