Newmeister 65th Wedding Anniversary

Lumir and Norma Newmeister celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary the week of July 4th on a Mississippi River houseboat cruise with their family.

Lumir Newmeister and the former Norma Pagel exchanged marriage vows on April 28, 1946, in Cedar Rapids where they have maintained their residence.

The couple's three sons and daughters-in-law, five of their six grandchildren (three spouses), and three of their four great-grandchildren, for a total of 19, made the four day excursion.
