JC & Christine (Miersen) were married on October 27, 1951 at the First Christian Church in Marion, IA. Their 60th anniversary celebration dinner will be at Lowe Park on November 5th with family and friends. Among those celebrating will be their children, Mary (Skeets) of Cumming, GA, Julie (Larry) of Alpharetta, GA, Jim (Chris) of Center Point, IA, and Michael (Tracy) of Marion, IA, 17 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren (and another one on the way).
