Elect John Laverty for CR School Board
Re-elect John Laverty for Cedar Rapids School Board and know that you will be heard. With the current budget constraints and redistricting looming, we need to know that we have a representative who will take the time to listen to parents and community members.
In the two years I served with Laverty, I was impressed with the amount of research he conducted and the communication he had before coming to the table. He is always ready to discuss the day’s business and to make informed decisions. He never hesitates to meet with a disgruntled member of the public or to seek out comments from community members on important issues. At meetings, he listens and works to come to a consensus. He is a valuable member of the board who will help the district move forward. I encourage you to vote for Laverty on Sept. 13.
