Palin Poll and Open Thread -- Will She or Won't She?

Aug. 22, 2011 2:16 pm
I've always figured that Sarah Palin would not run for president. I thought she'd milk the possibility of a candidacy for as long as possible, for marketing purposes, then fade out.
But, suddenly, it
sure seems more likely that she's getting in the Republican race.
And maybe that's exactly what she wants us to think. But the Iowa video (below) she released last week is hard to explain away. It has a very campaigny feel, from rolling bus to roaring bear. Palin also has to be looking at how Rick Perry ambled into the race late and became a big factor almost overnight. She's scheduled to headline an Tea Party event in Indianola Sept. 3. I think we very well might be headed for another shock wave shortage.
I'm interested in what you think. Cast a vote and comment below.
